A poetic journey into serenity and divine bliss
“Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10
There’s something very special about being still for a moment, staying really quiet, and listening to the sounds of nature. Feeling the coolness of frost or the warmth of the sun on your face. It’s like capturing a small fleeting snapshot of heaven.
Take a moment of calm, be still now,
Reach an arm up to serenity.
Tranquil hush in the crisp dusk air,
Heaven patiently awaits you there.
Silent with the marriage of nature,
Nothing moves, we share this moment.
Warmth caresses my face,
As this gentle evening begins her grace.
Birdsong chirps a lullaby,
I can’t feel sad here if I try.
A moment captured through the lens of love,
Clearly sent to me from above.
Pure bliss, all mine now,
A moment of restfulness, so divine.
God opened my heart to see,
Heaven is always a part of me.
Rare visit, just stopping by,
Little glimpse at my resting place.
In life’s gallery, this picture will remain,
Framed with care, for love to stare.
